update to brother drama

eviltammyWhoever stole the car called him and told him where they left it. Weird, no?
And they hid his phone, didn't steal it. So basically they took some cash and went for a joyride.
Of course, brother being brother, said the police thought he had something to do with it and that he got a bit shirty with them. Not sure if this was before or after car call.
Oh, and tenants paid some, but not all, so eviction proceedings are still going forward.
And I guess I'm going to see my uncle in the nursing home tomorrow::sigh:: I can't get my cousin who usually comes and picks up his accumulated mail to actually meet me so I can hand it over. No idea if she's that busy or if it's some sort of passive/aggressive thing - her son is the cousin that brother is suing. Uncle has never been my favorite person, mostly a huge pain in my parents' asses and I have nothing to talk to him about. But I have around 2 months worth of mail, including bills - I'm going to suggest he start changing his address with these people. And I may get his address from the nursing home and start changing it myself.
It's time to take Ember-kitty to the vet for her yearly shots, so maybe I'll use that as an excuse not to stay long. Yes, I'm a bad person. But I have no intentions of sitting around for hours with this guy.
Oh, yeah, and I'm getting a piano. No, I don't play. It's actually for the niece. Some lady is downsizing her household/moving and is selling her piano. Niece takes lessons and her grandfather is getting it cheap. But I'm the only one with room for it :) At least until brother gets a larger place, which may not be too long. Unless of course, he goes to jail for that whole gun thing...

So, now, I have the image in my head of a room with candelabrum the only light, people in formal wear and you in a tux with tails sitting at the piano... before you start banging away. Of course, the audience loves it, because of the 'modern' feel you bring to the local classical music scene...
