Life is... life. The cousins were evicted. Brother's got new tenants in the trailer - I think. I need to call him and make sure that's who was in the place when I came in tonight - or if wackos are squatting there :) With my luck, it's random violent wackos. Brother and I are okay - he's contesting the claim cousin put in against the estate - apparently contesting it means cousin will have a certain amount of time to restate the claim, but brother doesn't think the guy will spend the money to do it. Eh.

October books:

sf/fantasy:
The Candle of Distant Earth by Alan Dean Foster
Hunted by James Alan Gardner
Death of Sleep by Anne McCaffrey & Jody Lynn Nye

hmmm... can I only read sf/f by authors who use all 3 names?

Nonfiction:
Decorative Cross Stitch Borders by Cristina Sperandeo - I count this one as being read due to the amount of time I spent scanning in patterns >;)

Romantic thrillers:
Into the Storm by Suzanne Brockmann
Sleeping With Fear by Kay Hooper
Angels Fall by Nora Roberts

Mystery/thrillers:
Area 7 by Matthew Reilly
Scarecrow by Matthew Reilly
Cut and Run by Jeff Abbott
Black Wind by Clive & Dirk Cussler
Lost City by Clive Cussler & Paul Kemprecos (one from each of Cussler's series)(serii?)
Skeleton Coast by Clive Cussler & Jack Du Brul (serieses?)
Deal Breaker by Harlan Coben

14, with 4 rereads. Not a great month for reading (for me ::eg::), but then I also went to Memphis and Winston-Salem and had a wonderfully drama filled month.

So, 219 books for the year. And hopefully the drama llama will find someone else to visit this month. Please.

No No No, only authors who use 3 names can write sci fi. Try Orson Scott Card next. :)

My new Sony reader came and I *adore* it! It arrived on Thursday and I've already read 2.5 books on it.

MotorMouth by Evanovich
Thanksgiving by Evanovich
And I'm halfway through The Husband Trap by Warren

It's fabulous!
