Aug. 7th, 2006 10:49 pm1. One book that changed your life?
whatever fantasy/sf book that got me hooked on the genre.
2. One book you have read more than once?
tons of them - Eddings, Krentz, Crusie, McCaffrey, Quick, Parker, Westlake...
3. One book you would want on a desert island?
Not "the" only one, but The Lord of the Rings
4. One book that made you laugh?
Bank Shot by Donald E. Westlake - has one of the greatest 2-3 sentence chapters ever.
5. One book that made you cry?
More than one - but Where the Red Fern Grows by Wilson Rawls - I can cry just thinking about it.
6. One book you wish had been written?
One that I had written that would make me lots of money, so that I'd never have to worry about money again. :>
7. One book you wish had never been written?
I'm with
taibhrigh on this - if I don't like it, I stop. That said - Absalom, Absalom by Faulkner. Great plot summary, but godawful writing, imo.
8. One book you are currently reading?
Two actually - Hear No Evil by James Grippando and 1634: The Ram Rebellion by Eric Flint et al.
9. One book you have been meaning to read?
Game of Thrones by George R.R. Martin, which I have on hold
10. Now tag five people.
Nah, if they want to, they will.
