Anyone ever hired Merry Maids or the equivalent? Any idea what the general price is or what grade of disgusting they'll do?

They'll clean pretty much anything, and for a big job they will either give you a free estimate first or charge by the hour. Cost us about $250 to get our 1500 sq. ft. house cleaned.

I guess I'll call them on Monday to come out for an estimate or something. I have no idea the square footage of the house. This place is a mess and I sincerely doubt my ability (and know my lack of desire) to clean it up before going off to Maine for a wedding at the end of the month. I'm hoping if I can get it cleaned, it won't take much to keep it clean. Thanks!
