Sadness

I think most of my lj friends are people that I know from elsewhere - and I'm not a prolific journaler anyway, but I'll probably be even less around for a little bit.

My mom died. It was sudden and unexpected and I'm heartbroken.

And tomorrow my brother and I will begin the task of settling her estate. And all I want to do is lay down and cry.

I am so very very sorry. I know how close you two were. Let me know if there's anything I can do. And make sure that at some point you *do* take the time to lie down and cry.

Thanks, dia. It's been hard, but I'm making it. And, believe me, I have taken the time. The cat has also been a great help :)
