Dog show and fun for Super Bowl Sunday

Mom and I watched the first half of the dog show last night and will be watching tonight also - loooooove the doggies!

And for those who aren't interested in the Super Bowl, Animal Planet will be showing the Puppy Bowl II with a Kitten Halftime Show. Awwwwwww!

We watched the Puppy Bowl last year - it was sooooooo cyoooote! And the clip of the Kitten Halftime Show look adorable too :)

Fiona, the dog show also lets viewers vote for their favorite among each class - the 13" beagle won for his group. (the hound group?) The Golden won the Working dog viewer's choice - adorable. The beagle was Mom's choice :) - she loves 'em. I tried to convince her that we should come see you, but no go. Our Lab is already unhappy enough with the 2 cats, a new puppy would be extra mean.

Everyone loves Goldens. How can you not? They're beautiful dogs, they're gentle and they love to play. Now, I heard retrievers as a group aren't too bright--unless they're actually retrieving--but I'm not sure that's true.

Beagles too. They're playful too, but not as big as Goldens. When Mr. Jerel and I are in a place where we can have a dog (and don't have the 2 cats, who would hate having a canine sibling), I want a beagle. He wants a mini daschund. We can't agree on that yet, but we have agreed we will get him from a shelter or rescue group.
