I am a bad aunt. I have shingles - luckily they don't hurt too much. But guess who's niece was just diagnosed with chicken pox today?


And, over at dailyanimals, the daily animal is a capybara.

Isn't chicken pox one of those things that they just have to be exposed to in order to get? Like someone in the same room having it? I thought that was how all the kids always used to get it from other kids.

I know in the stories and movies the parents always used to expose the other kids so they'd all get it at once and get it over with :) Not really sure how it spreads.

And Ember may weigh 6 or so pounds now - she weighed 5 pds when we got her. Bad niece!
