Just started a book group LJ and life

For readaholics, join howmanybooks. Since I've already finished the 50bookchallenge, I decided to start this. Also, it's a yahoo group - howmany@yahoogroups.com. Hopefully it'll catch on.

Mom's in Kentucky at a quilting show for the week, so it's just me and the pets. Until I get the niece on Thursday - Friday we're going to Columbia, so I can tell stories at A(ugusta) Baker's Dozen Storytelling Festival and she's getting out of school for the day and coming with me.

Otherwise, a nice lazy week with little to do.

Hopefully this will motivate me to work through the stack of books sitting here taunting me.

You don't even want to know about the stacks of books in my room. They were so tall I got a covered basket to put them in so I didn't have to feel guilty about not reading them when I come home from B&N with another $100 worth of books...

I don't have many books of my own here - they're in storage still. Several library books and a few books from the used book store and B&N, including the 4 I bought today: 3 Sharon Sala mystery/romances and a book on HTML. Decided that learning it will add another dimension of expertise to my resume. I'm working on a couple of webpages using templates, but I also want to know the stuff behind the scenes too.
