Not much happening in otterevilworld, except looking for work and getting my knee better, so onto the books:

Science Fiction:
Against the Odds by Elizabeth Moon
Trading in Danger by Elizabeth Moon
Marque and Reprisal by Elizabeth Moon
In the Company of Others by Julie E. Czerneda
Anarchaos by Donald Westlake
Reflex by Steven Gould

Fantasy:
Hat Full of Sky by Terry Pratchett
Jaguar Knights by Dave Duncan

Thriller:
The Girls He Adored by Jonathan Nasaw
Tap Tap by David Martin
Top Ten by Ryne Douglas Pearson
Psychopath by Keith Ablow
The Broker by John Grisham (the one thriller not containing psycho killers :> )

Romantic Thriller/Mystery:
Dating Dead Men by Harley Jane Kozak
Cold Blooded by Lisa Jackson
Whisper of Evil by Kay Hooper

Mystery:
Winter House by Carol O'Connell
Murder at a Vineyard Mansion by Philip R. Craig

Teen:
Hollywood Hustle (Son of the Mob) by Gordon Korman

Nonfiction:
So Many Books, So Little Time by Sara Nelson
How To Be a Villain by Neil Zawacki

Hard to Classify:
Nobody Runs Forever by Richard Stark - crime drama? Protagonist is a criminal, committing crimes, but not a mystery or a thriller - and not humorous like Westlake's Dortmunder series.

Point of Honour by Madeleine E. Robins - an alternate Regency England mystery with a noir-ish feel.

dia - the Jackson and Hooper were good, the Kozak wasn't - and you might look at the Robins - and get in touch with your former Teen Librarian-ness and read the Korman.

So, 23 for the month, 43 for the year so far. Hmm, I should hit the 50BookChallenge next month, but I'm also on a hundredbookchallenge yahoogroup and seeing if I can hit 300.

If you can't find the Jackson, tell me - my copy is from the used book store and I'd be glad to send it on to you. I'd been planning to leave it somewhere (bookcrossing.com), but haven't figured out where yet. I'll go put one of the MacAlisters on hold in just a minute :)

Korman has always been a favorite - No More Dead Dogs is hilarious.

And tell Rob I said he's a meanie!
