Why does pain

hurt so much?

I think Elis sent her falling down sickness to me. As Mom and I were leaving our table to go pay for dinner and head home, I fell. Not sure I tripped over something in the restaurant or just my own two feet.

I fell straight down on my right knee. Ummm..

FUCKING OWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!

Had to be pulled up - couldn't put weight on my knee - and, of course, that's the leg I do put weight on when I get up from the floor. They got me up and into a chair and got me some ice for my knee. Was able to move it and finally hobbled out to the car.

I'm going to have bruises (or one huge one) from the top of my knee to mid-shin.

What do you want to bet that the temp agency calls with a job tomorrow? Or a library for an interview?

I will. Today it's much less painful and secondary pains on other limbs are promoting themselves a tad. But I can bend it and put weight on it. Nice set of bruises along the top of my knee, a little swollen area underneath and the kneecap is numb. I'll give it through the weekend - if it's still numb, I'll get it checked out.
