January books and gip :)
Feb. 1st, 2005 08:00 pmMade myself some new icons ::preens::
Also joined in a couple of book groups off of yahoo: 50bookchallenge(also an lj community) and ABCreaders.
50book is just that - trying to read 50 books during the year. I'll pass that in March sometime probably ::eg:: And ABC is reading books with either titles from a to z or authors from a to z - or doing both from a to z - which is what I'm doing.
January 2005 books
1. Second Star by Dana Stabenow
2. Blood on His Hands by Willo Davis Roberts (teen novel)
3. Song of an Innocent Bystander by Ian Bone (teen novel)
4. The Report Card by Andrew Clements (juvenile book)
5. Equal Rites by Terry Pratchett
6. Life Expectancy by Dean Koontz
7. The Faery Reel: Tales from the Twilight Realm edited by Datlow & Windling
8. Sacred Stone by Clive Cussler & Craig Dirgo
9. Bait by Karen Robards
10. Legacies by F. Paul Wilson
11. Guards! Guards! by Terry Pratchett
12. Black Wind by Clive & Dirk Cussler
13. The Kill Clause by Gregg Hurwitz
14. The Program by Gregg Hurwitz
15. Alice in Jeopardy by Ed McBain
16. Fear Itself by Jonathan Nasaw
17. Soul Music by Terry Pratchett
18. Rules of Engagement by Elizabeth Moon
19. Men at Arms by Terry Pratchett
20. Change of Command by Elizabeth Moon
So basically I'm devouring Pratchett's books - finally started reading him at the end of last year - and Elizabeth Moon's military sf/space opera books. Excellent. And must do more reading in my texts for my class: Subject Analysis and Classification - ick.
