Cruisin' On a Christmas Afternoon
Dec. 22nd, 2004 09:37 pmWooooooooooooooooooooo!
Mom and I leave for our cruise tomorrow. We go to Jacksonville, FL to get onboard and set sail around 4 pm.
It's around a 6 hour drive from here. Friday, we'll stop in Freeport for part of the day and Saturday, we'll be spending the day docked in Nassau. Sunday is a full day at sea and Monday is back in Jacksonville and the drive home.
Never been on a cruise before, but everyone says we'll love it. The closest I've come is the hovercraft crossing from Dover to Calais :) and Mom's been on boats on the lake. So we're pretty excited. And all in a flutter about packing. We're both notorious overpackers - though my overage usually tends to be books, rather than clothes.
Man, there's no way we're getting any sleep tonight.
