Niece in ER :(

Beloved niece is in the ER - brother says severe side pain - possibly appendicitis? Ovarian cysts? He said her mom said they did an ultrasound last night, but sent her home. Now they're giving her barium and then a CAT scan.

Please think good thoughts, send vibes, prayers, whatevers.

Could be what I was rushed to the ER for at that age, which is ovulation pain - Mittelschmerz. It can be excruciating and mimics a lot of the pain of appendicitis.

If nothing shows up, I'll mention it to brother. Considering all my menstrual & associated problems and Mom's, it may be something that runs in the family.

I remember my grandmother being guilt ridden because she had it too. I get my tilty uterus from her sister.

I mentioned it to brother, so he could bring it up if necessary. She's going to the doctor tomorrow - probably will get a referral to the gyno, but she'll still get checked out. Talked to her today and she sounded hurty :(( Po' baby.
