Just got rid of a sofa and an upright piano. The people wanting the sofa arrived right when the other family was trying to get the piano into their truck and helped them. Then the first family helped move the sofa. And they moved the other sofa I had into the spot left by the removed sofa.
Now I just need to move the coffee table, get rid of the piece of carpet in front of the door, and get all the miscellaneous crap out of the floor. Coffee table and crap first - carpet is screwed into the door jamb.
But when the coffee table is moved, the kitties will have a huge space to romp in :)
And AC, of course, didn't leave town :)
