Feb books

I retrieved several boxes of books and stuff from my storage unit this month, so I've been indulging in some rereads :) And since I'm not counting rereads this year, my count is low.

So, that's 27 so far. Now back to editing entries on Library Thing.

My, I'm being a posty thing today

First a non-drama thing: Brother has contacted a lumber company about cutting some of our trees. We have LOTS of them :) And a few of them could become hazardous - they lean towards my house, the trailer, and the beautiful place the Mexican family up the road renovated (really it was a blah small-ish house - the guy and his brothers? built a second story, complete new facade, and a wrap-around porch - seriously nice). If we got bad weather or they died, we could have some problems. So brother is having the lumber company come and cut down the pines, leaving the other hardwoods alone. And they're going to pay us :)


Drama llama - the civil suit against the cousin is next month on the 13th. Yeah - not. So not looking forward to this. Am actually less looking forward to hearing brother's plan for the trial seventy zillion more times before then.

Toby Keith has a song that Mom said applied to Brother: "I Wanna Talk About Me" - guy is talking about how they always talk about *everything* about the girl, but sometimes he'd like to talk about himself. Reverse the sexes for my situation. About the only way I can interrupt is to talk about the niece. I admit I'm pretty self-absorbed - but, man o man, he makes me crazy. Though I wonder if it's just that he has no idea what else to talk to me about. If it wasn't so completely obvious we're related, I'd swear one of us was adopted :)
