Having weird problems with home line. Had a guy out yesterday and he replaced a DSL filter and a phone cord. But I'm still having trouble staying connected - which means possibly a 2nd filter & cord may need replacing.
I'm trying to get a new jack put in - but the account is in my grandfather's name and I have to get it put into my name before I can authorize any service calls {sigh}. So I'm here at the library getting a copy of his obituary so I can send it to the phone company.
Then I can get the account changed over and the service call started.
But first I had to go to the cemetery to look at the gravestone since I couldn't remember when he died. He died the day after my birthday during my senior year of college. Just a couple of years short of 20 years ago. No wonder I didn't remember.
So if I speed myself on home, I could get this into the mail today. And argue with my dsl so I can play{sigh}.
