1. You're a TV producer looking for the next new TV series. You want a show with an established following so you decide to go with an established written novel series. What book series would you pick and who would be the actors involved? Too many choices!!! And most of the SF would be way too expensive - Honor Harrington, Miles Vorkosigan. Anita Blake would be great - but you'd have to do it on cable for the sex. Pern would be great, but only if you could get the dragons right. Hmm, maybe the Nantucket trilogy by S.M. Stirling - Alternate History. You'd need some cool effects for the moving of Nantucket into the past, but then it'd be easy. Lots of side stories off of the main story about 21st century people adjusting to the loss of their luxuries. Actors? Vancouver Repertory Theater! ::g:: All those good character actors. I've never really thought about casting it.

2. If you could only travel to one more place (money and time no object) and then never travel again, where would you go? Europe ::g:: dammit! bad kitty! I am not a chew toy! I don't know - I have to have my yearly trips to the ocean - don't think I could stand it if I couldn't go there.

3. So, you're a librarian, but you can only pick one book to read over and over, what book would you pick? [I'll be fair here, and allow for a book series.] I can't. No way in hell. I could come up with some possibilities - Tolkien, Robert Parker's Spenser novels - but then knowing I couldn't reread the Sacketts or the Eddings books or Honor Harrington... I just can't.

4. Favorite animated movie? How the Grinch Stole Christmas (the original!) slightly ahead of 101 Dalmatians (also the original). There are many short films based on children's books that I'd love to get too.

5. They've built a library on the moon and they're looking for librarians, would you go?
Yes. Especially if I could turn gravity off in the building occasionally :) (the bookshelves/books should have separate gravity controls)(I could jump from floor to floor! Cool!)

1. How are you feeling, lately? Mostly okay. Having some problems with asthma/weight, but health is mostly okay. Depressed and frustrated about work and money, but enjoying having nothing to do. Worrying about Mom's weird leg problem, but it hasn't been as bad the last few days. Unsettled - I want my stuff, but since I don't have my own place and enough room, it stays in storage.

2. Do you have any major regrets in your life? (yes or no)
No, not really. I wish I had told my Dad I loved him more often and I wish I had let my friend Claire know how much her friendship meant to me, but those are the kinds of things most people wish, not serious regrets. I've had some serious downs in my life, but even then, it's been a fairly good one.

3. Can you speak any foreign languages? (which)
My BA is in Foreign Languages :) but it's been so long since I've used them that I'd probably get myself killed. French, a year of German (with one of my French teachers), and a summer of Spanish back in the 8th grade or so.

4. Is the MFWC real? It was, now I think it's in limbo. I think it could be revived, but have no idea how ::sigh::

5. When the reckoning comes, do you really think you'll be sorted into the evil pile?
Depends. Assuming Christianity is real: Probably. I haven't killed or committed adultery. I have coveted (oh, have I coveted!) and lied - and, yeah, stolen (mostly office supplies :) But in a more general "Have you done good or evil?" sense: no. I'm more naughty than evil ::flutters eyelashes::
