Good results, irritating times
Apr. 10th, 2005 12:06 amCame back today from Winston Salem where I went for my yearly check up with the radiation oncologist (I usually see my surgeon in October). She said everything looked fine and that, when I go see Dr. S in Durham, to say that she thinks I can go down to just 1 visit per year. So I can see her one year and him the next year. Which is great!
Came home today and reluctantly went off to harass car dealers - but I couldn't get in the damn building! I banged on the door, rang the buzzer for the office I would be in and called Information twice to try each of the phone #'s they had for the company. I waited 20 minutes, then went home. There I called the number I had there - 3 different times, trying to reach 3 different people. Never got anyone. So I call the temp agency and left a message there, so that they know. Monday should be interesting - I have to get my time sheet in before 10 am - but it's not signed - because I couldn't get into work today. I also haven't gotten last week's paycheck, which means they probably held it in the office until Friday, and then put it in the mail (even though I saw her change the notation in my record that said I wanted it mailed to me, not held).
Can I just say - once again - that I want a new life? Thank you.
