Knee's getting better. Ember's a psychokitty (redundant, I know). Mom's doing well, as is niece. I'm still looking for a good job, but I'm working part-time in a temp job. I'm telemarketing, basically, except I'm calling car dealers on the West Coast and shilling for eBay Motors, instead of calling people at home and harassing them. I'm not thrilled with it, so while I'm looking for professional jobs, I'm also looking for other clerical-type jobs. I'd slip in some of my California friends' phone numbers and chat, but the marketing firm is monitoring the calls :( I'm not a big phone person - I occasionally chat with people, but usually not for long periods of time - and I've never been fond of calling people I don't know.

Hey, [livejournal.com profile] dia, what are some of the current reference materials that are being used - both print and online? One job I applied for is in the library of a local technical college - I'm used to kid's stuff, not adult :)

That's 22 for the month, 65 for the year and I still need books with titles starting with the letters
KOQVXYZ and books with authors starting with DLSTUVXY to finish up the AlphabetReaders challenge. I think I'll look for some of these when I go to the library - hopefully tomorrow.
