quietly freaking

something weird going on w/my left eye - feels like there's something under the lid, but can't see anything. Tried flushing it out but didn't work. Eye still works but doesn't like looking in certain directions. Doesn't really *hurt* - just feels incredibly weird. Called my eye dr - they paged the doc on call and he says call in the AM for an appt. Yeah, that's a long time away :( Keeping ER in mind if gets worse. Very paranoid about eye care - favorite activities all include excessive eye use. ::whimper::
