August books

Messed up house a/c slowed me up a little this month - stayed in my bedroom with the individual a/c unit and watched some DVDs, cross stitched, and slept :)

cross stitchers - floss alert!

Walmart is apparently closing their craft section (or redoing it or something).

They have reduced floss to $.10 per skein. I went and got a metric buttload of floss :>
The cashier finally gave up ringing each one up and just started counting them and ringing them up by 20s :)

I didn't get much done on the Oriental Butterfly, but I did do several bookmarks - playing with some special floss and using
Subversive Cross Stitch to craft some excellently snarky works of art :) I'll post pics later, after I finish the Celtic knot I've been working on for the past couple of days.
