Dog show and Sept. books
Oct. 9th, 2005 07:25 pmDid anyone else watch the dog show on Animal Planet last night? I thought the German Shepherd was a beauty, but was more partial to the Golden Retriever. (And I thought of you, Fiona, when they showed the beagles :)
I'd love to go to a show - must look up what it'd cost.
Life still the same - no job, no money, crazy kitty. Mom's having a weird medical thing - spasms in her left leg - her doc sent her to a neurologist, who scheduled an MRI and an electrical something test to check on nerve damage. Nothing really showed up, and Mom remembered to tell him about having surgery on her right knee, so now she's got an appointment with an orthopedic dr. She's okay during the morning - it usually starts sometimes in the late afternoon/evening - her leg just jerks like someone is shaking it. It doesn't hurt, unless the shaking is severe, but she has to stop walking and sit/stand and wait for it to stop - which is hella inconvenient, and her leg is weak right before & after, but not any other time. Is weird.
( Onto the Books of September! )
Fairly good month - this month is off and running - already on book 8, though one was a graphic novel. So that's 18 for the month, 191 for the year.
