November books
Dec. 22nd, 2008 11:52 pmWell, I did it again, didn't I? :) Actually I lost my list for a few days and then just procrastinated. So this will just be a list mostly.
I did finish the A to Z challenge. My Z author was Roger Zelazny and I read _A Night in the Lonesome October_, which is very strange: it references Lovecraft, Shelley, Doyle, Stoker, Jack the Ripper and others in a day by day October journey to either keeping the Elder Gods out of this world or allowing them in.
Nonfiction:
Your Hate Mail Will Be Graded by John Scalzi - a collection of columns from his blog from the last 10 years.
Teen novels:
Unwind by Neal Shusterman - very interesting premise
Evil Genius by Catherine Jinks
Daja's Book by Tamora Pierce
SF:
The Scourge of God by S.M. Stirling
Mystery/thrillers:
Collision by Jeff Abbott
Smoke Screen by Sandra Brown
The Mercedes Coffin by Faye Kellerman
The Darker Side by Cody McFadyen
Stitches in Time by Barbara Michaels
Burn Out by Marcia Muller
Killer View by Ridley Pearson
Don't Tell a Soul by David Rosenfelt
Third Strike by Zoe Sharp
The Night Stalker by James Swain
Hot Mahogany by Stuart Woods
