Confessions of a Contractor by Richard Murphy - got this as an ARC, and even though I seem to have lost the info to send the publisher my review, I'll still do it :> Contractor Henry Sullivan muses about life, love, and home renovation - and the dangers of getting too involved with your clients. The reviewers at amazon.com liked it much more than I did. It was pleasant - the guy equivalent of chick-lit.

Keeper of the Universe by Louise Lawrence - looking at the editorial reviews on amazon.com, I agree much more with the second one - I found this slow and didactic. Read for the 888 challenge.
