okay, we had snow
Mar. 3rd, 2009 04:07 amIt can go away now.
She says as she types this in a hotel around 15 miles away from her house.
Power went out Sunday night @ 1130 pm. Temp stayed okay, power came back on around 6 pm.
Around 8pm, power went out again. When I called in the outage, the computer voice said my power should be back on March 4 around 11 pm. And the temp was supposed to be around 19. If I could have slept, I might could have dealt with it, but I couldn't - all I could think about was my cold nose and toes and the cold kitty ears...
So I called
ithildyn and
ninjababe and had them search for pet-friendly hotels in my area. The Holiday Inn Express in town was full, so I'm at the one between Spartanburg and Greenville. (I like HIEs). The kitties are very upset. Honey is hiding, Ember is pacing and meowing and trying to build up static so she can shock me as she rubs on my legs. She cried most of the way here, with occasional back up from Honey.
We've been here around an hour now - I think I'm finally getting tired. I did forget my CPAP machine, but it's not like I'd be using it if I was at home :)
I want to live somewhere where it's spring/fall all year around - any ideas?
