that I got a netbook? I'm currently sitting in a study room at the library, just having done some work for my class. I decided to come here, because home is too distracting :) and I wanted to finish doing some setup with the wifi and downloading stuff.

I had to listen to a couple of podcasts - one was about a biography of Einstein and was fairly interesting - and very listen-to-able :) The second was Diane Rehms and Toni Morrison talking about Morrison's new book. Gods above, it was hideous - I actually need some aspirin now. I lasted about 15 minutes and quit.


I also got a $71,000 hospital bill - yes, you read that right. I will be calling the insurance company.

Now aspirin...

$71,000??? Egads, was that just a "statement of charges" thing that was showing the total being billed to your insurance, or has it been long enough now that the hospital is actually expecting you to pay?

Actually it says the insurance has paid their part and the rest is my responsibility.

Ummm, no.

I'll be calling next week. I think I'm also going to be calling to ask for an itemized bill.
