Happy birthday to me - and books :)

Is my birthday today - mine and my birthday twin Shirl, who's working on getting online again, yeah!
Still seeing my therapist - oh, yeah, neat story with that - I'm bartering services :) - librarian skills for therapy appointments. Since it's hard for me to get up to her office, we meet at her church in their library, which is basically just a room with some books. It has extremely nice handmade bookcases though - gorgeous things made by one of the congregation. All in all, around 1000 books maybe (a good half of which are in the pastor's office). So I'm going to catalog and arrange the library - at least until my disability comes through and I have insurance again. Now I just need to figure out how to make a database using OpenOffice Impress (I think that the one).
Cousin's cat is still here {sigh}. I finally got myself going on the roofer/electrician thing - to gut-clenching sticker shock. Possibly a way around some of it - I need to call him back and ask a couple of questions. I'm calling an electrician tomorrow, er... today - I delayed that because I needed to get niece's mom to come over to clean the place, so that the places in the house he'll need to see aren't complete pits of despair :) Oh, and cousin may be coming by tomorrow to see her cat (and get a deadline on picking him up) - yeah.
So, since my actual birthday might be a bit busy, I went to the movies tonight. And the theater has a punch card that gets you free stuff at certain visits - and tonight's visit was a free ticket! And I didn't even realize it, so it was a nice surprise. Went to see "National Treasure: Book of Secrets" - fun, lighthearted mindless fluff - just what I needed - plus popcorn!
And now February's books:
Mystery/thrillers:
A Wicked Snow by Gregg Olsen
The Intruders by Michael Marshall
The Darkest Evening of the Year by Dean Koontz
Duma Key by Stephen King
You've Been Warned by James Patterson & Howard Roughan

Life As We Knew It by Susan Beth Pfeffer
Strays by Ron Koertge
Long May She Reign by Ellen Emerson White

The Long Way Home (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) by Joss Whedon (graphic novel)
