Being anal/paranoid pays!

So I thought tomorrow that I'd be taking off to Chapel Hill for my Friday morning appointment with my surgical oncologist - hopefully the last visit. Made a hotel reservation and was starting to make out my travel plans.

But since this appointment was made months ago, I thought, "Gee, call and confirm - just in case..."

Yeah, good thing.

They have my appointment listed for the 12th, not the 5th.

Man, I would have been pissed - a 4 hour drive, gas, food, hotel bill...

Instead, a quick hop over to the hotel reservation page, made the necessary changes, got confirmation. All set for *next* week.
