1. Reply to this post and I'll assign you a letter.
2. List (and upload, if you feel like it) 5 songs that start with that letter.
3. Post them to your journal with these instructions.

[livejournal.com profile] taibhrigh gave me the letter "E".

1. Electric Rodeo - Shooter Jennings
2. Emotional Rescue - Rolling Stones
3. England Swings - Roger Miller
4. Every Now and Then - Marty Brown
5. Everybody Needs Somebody To Love - The Blues Brothers

I have no idea how to upload, so all you get are titles :)

A: People who have been tagged must write their answers on their blog and replace any question that they dislike with a new, original question.
B: Tag eight people. Don't refuse to do that. Don't tag who tagged you.
Well, I'm not going to tag, but anyone who wants to can "Baaaa" along with me.

[1] Make a list of 5 things you can see:
cross stitch I'm working on, canister of raisins, bottle of water, Burt's Bees Lip Balm, telephone.

[2] Would you ever get plastic surgery?
Yeah, probably will if the weight loss goes well.

[3] What are 5 things you usually keep in your pocket/bag/wallet?
Wallet, Burt's Bees lip balm, a book, cell phone, pocket knife.

[4] What person in your life has made the biggest impact on you?
Mom, I guess.

[5] What is your dream occupation? (It doesn't have to be realistic)
Movie, book, and food critic.

[6] If you had a choice would you rather fall in love with the man of your dreams (and him fall in love with you) or win the lottery?
Love, but I wouldn't say no to the lottery :)

[7] Who is the last person you hugged?

[8] What is your current obsession?
Hmmm, nothing much - maybe the cross stitch.

[9] What's the last text message you received?
Telling me how much $$ is left on my cell.

[10] What sites do you always visit when you go online?
LJ, Gmail, several cute animal sites, several webcomics, Shakesville, customers_suck and related sites (to keep current my distaste for public service::g::)

[11] Last thing you bought?
Bottle of water.

[12] What random useless fact did you learn today?
Reinforced that annoying cousin is annoying and I'm very grumpy when I don't sleep.

[13] What do you usually drink in the morning?

[14] What would you tell your 12 year old self if you could?
Throw a little more activity into your life, but you are not fat. And that menstruation thing? It's going to be a PITA later, so start bugging the doctors now.

[15] If you could play any musical instrument what one would you play?

[16] Do you have any siblings?
A older annoying brother. Yes, I have many annoying relatives :)

[17] What's something you would like to say to someone right now?
Get a life, stupid, and leave me alone!

[18] If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go?

[19] Whats your favourite kind of weather?
Mid-spring or mid-fall - warm enough that I don't need heat, cool enough that I don't need A/C.

[20] What's the last show/gig/concert you went to?
Been so long I couldn't tell you, so I'll substitute a question.

Who's the last person you talked to on the phone?

eviltammy: (meme)
I'm a sheeeeeeeeeeeeeep!

I'm doing the 101 Things to do in 1001 Days Project and I created a blog for it (sigh).

Come mock if you like. And I still need about 10 suggestions :)

If you read this, if your eyes are passing over this right now,(even if we don't speak often or ever) please post a comment with a COMPLETELY MADE UP AND FICTIONAL memory of you and me.

It can be anything you want - good or bad - BUT IT HAS TO BE FAKE.

When you're finished, post this little paragraph in your LJ and see what your friends come up with.
eviltammy: (meme)
I replied at [livejournal.com profile] ithidrial's so now I am supposed to do this here.

1. Reply with your name and I'll respond with something random about you.

2. I'll tell you what song/movie reminds me of you.

3. I'll pick a flavor of jello to wrestle with you in.

4. I'll say something that only makes sense to you and me.

5. I'll tell you my first memory of you.

6. I'll tell you what animal you remind me of.

7. I'll ask you something that I've always wondered about you.

8. If I do this for you, you must post this on your journal. You MUST. It is written.
eviltammy: (meme)
If you're maybe noticing that you're older than you used to be, and are feeling sad/angry/confused/worried/frustrated that you haven't accomplished as much as you/other people in your present or past/annoyingly critical voices inside your head think you should have, and if you're maybe feeling something like "I'm not a real grownup like everyone else," and if you're maybe also feeling sad/angry/confused/worried/frustrated that your body isn't working the way it used to, and you're maybe thinking, "if that's true then how am I going to DO all those accomplishments that I/other people/voices in my head think I ought or want to do?", and maybe you're also wondering how are you going to dig out from under the accumulation of habit and procrastination and self-doubt to some sense of satisfaction in your life again, then post this same sentence in your journal.

1. Rabbits - Bunnies! Cute, fuzzy, hoppy!
2. Writing - Once upon a time I wrote fanfic, but haven't in a long time. But I still like to hear about how other people think about it/do it.
3. Cross Stitch - off and on for years, mostly off, but recently I've gotten back into it. I've got some finished pictures up at my homepage - (Evil Online, Inc. - look at links on the left side of my LJ page)

- beer: I don't actually like beer, but that's what the otter looks like he's saying. I need to redo it so the words can be read :)

- snow: I wanted a snowflake icon :) I like snowflakes - making them was one of my favorite winter craft activities. Also in my list of links, there's one called "Make Snowflakes" where you can make virtual ones.

- otterbook: First book icon. I found the otter picture and was using it as my icon until I made some real otter ones. Then [livejournal.com profile] taibhrigh, I think, added the book to it for me. Since then I've figured out how to make icons :)
eviltammy: (weird)
Comment and I will give you 3 interests from your list and 3 icons for you to explain.

[livejournal.com profile] taibhrigh gave me:

1. rabbits: I love animals - expecially cats & dogs - followed closely by cute widdle floofy bunnikins! Gah! Insulin shock! And I live sorta in the country and, sometimes, if I'm coming home at night, when I pull into the yard, I can see a rabbit or two hopping across my lawn. There was a black&white long-eared one last night!

2. reading: I don't remember ever not reading. Mom said she read to us as kids, but I don't remember that. I just remember reading. In elementary school, when I was hooked on Nancy Drew, I'd take 2 or 3 to school to read there. I just read faster than anyone else and I'd get through assignments quicker, so I'd check my work and then pull out a book. The teachers never bothered me - and I'd usually read all 3 books too :)

3. movies: What's not to love? Climate-controlled, popcorn- & soda-infused escapism at its finest. Drama, action, adventure, science fiction, fantasy - much pickier about comedies and chick flicks and, oddly, not really big on horror movies.

Hmmm, actually reading and movies were greatly influence by Mom - Dad too - but more Mom. We read lots of the same books (I usually recommended them to her) and saw lots of the same movies (probably equal amounts, but my genre choices were wider). We'd go out to eat and both pull out books instead of talking; and we'd go to the movies, getting there early to make sure we had time to get popcorn, and pull out books until the previews started :)

: Ithy made it - I like it as a celebration/congratulations type icon - also the drink looks good :)

: I made it - I wanted a wintery icon and I love snowflakes - one of the links on my page goes to a site where you can cut out snowflakes. I've also cross stitched one - haven't gotten it framed yet though.

: inspired by [livejournal.com profile] diavestra's similar icon - I like the South Park look and it had a book!

I need more icons... though must resist urge to make them all cats ;>
eviltammy: (Default)
Hmm, I need a sheep icon.

Leave a comment and I'll give you a letter; then you have to list 10 things you like starting with that letter. Post them in your journal and give out new letters to your commenters in turn. NO TAGBACKS ALLOWED, unless a commenter specifically requests to be given a letter!

[livejournal.com profile] elismor finally coughed up the letter I asked for - P

1. Puddy tats! Sufferin' succotash!

2. Potatoes! Taters - boil 'em, mash 'em, stick 'em in a stew! (What's 'taters', precious!?)

3. Pens. Ballpoint, rollerball, gel. Black, blue, red. Fine point, medium point, felt tip.

4. Photography - love to take though I'm not great, love to look at - especially cats and landscapes :)

5. Puppies! Completely self-explanatory :)

6. Pockets. Never survive without 'em.

7. Ponies - gorgeous and gangly. Completely silly, yet showing the majesty of "Horse".

8. Popcorn, especially at the movies.

9. Painting - stuff, not art. Though stuff can be art... Fun, challenging, yet relaxing.

10. Peace and quiet - the quiet life is vastly underrated.

Post your reply, then post this in your LJ and find out what my answer would be.

LogoThere are:
people with my name
in the U.S.A.

How many have your name?

We'll ignore my last name, which is statistically the 3rd most popular.

* There are 4,500 people in the U.S. with the first name Tamatha.

I'd love to know their ages - Mom made mine up - it would be interesting to see how many came up with this variation before her.

* More than 99.9 percent of people with the first name Tamatha are female.

So basically all Tamathas are female :) Now that I've said that the pi to 58 decimal points guy named Tamatha will pop up ;>
